I like: integration to Gtalk. I don't like: the recent outages. Is Friendfeed the only viable solution?

my 0.02€ around the various Microblogging/status apps that are out there:
twitter: loads of "buzz", celebraties, pr & marketing people. Thing itself is SMS based im
Laconi.ca: open source clone of twitter, federated, no real reason to use over Twitter unless you are a die-hard freetard?
Jaiku: if not a 20% project, would now probably still be in the race (and maybe even winning!)
Yammer: per company jaiku (but markets itself as a twitter clone?)
rejaw: at least threads replies, but only really web based
brightkite: location based version of twitter. Too complicated?
Personally, i will wait to see what the OpenSource version of Jaiku brings, as non of the competing services can quite match Jaiku (even with the recent problems!)
